Come one, come all to the annual Harvest Fair at the Johnson Farm. Help support the Trust for Working Landscapes, working to preserve and enhance local farming, by celebrating with us during this free event, donations welcome throughout!!

New this year, Free park and ride shuttle with pick-up at Bainbridge ferry terminal for each ferry arrival from Seattle, from 11:15am(10:35 Sailing from Seattle) and final return drop off at 6pm for the 6:20 sailing back to Seattle.  Shuttle ALSO, picks up at BETHANY LUTHERAN (Finch Rd and Highschool) and STRAWBERRY HILL PARK ( Highschool Rd Between Sands Rd and Fletcher Bay Rd). Why gamble for parking? Take the Free shuttle!

FAIR ACTIVITIES

  • Bring your own apples and learn to make Apple Cider right in the fair orchard!
  • Learn about farming: Meet our local farmers, see a demonstration gardens, talk with local master gardeners and chefs using seasonal, locally grown ingredients!
  • Watch Walter Gallager in his famous sheep shearing demonstration!
  • Come snuggle with the 4-H Petting Zoo!
  • Beer and Wine Garden: sample Bainbridge Island and Perennial Vineyards wines and Hales Ales — what a relaxing way to support the cause.
  • Take a Tractor or Horse Drawn Wagon Ride!
  • Ride the Land-Slide, young’uns only please.
  • Enter the Biggest Zucchini Contest with $100 prize. (enter by 3 pm)
  • Pie contest, -NEW- two Categories: sweet and savory. One adult and one youth first prizes in each category! (enter by 1 pm)
  • Or simply take in Seven Hours of sumptuous local music, sitting on a hay bale.

End this fabulous celebration with us at 6pm with the releasing of the doves off the main stage and a community photograph by Joel Sackett!
